THE WAY OF THE PRACTICAL MYSTIC
THE HAMBLIN SPIRITUAL COURSE - Henry Thomas Hamblin

The Way of the Practical Mystic is an astonishing rediscovery: a full-scale spiritual course in twenty-seven lessons by one of the great figures in the New Thought of the twentieth century. Timeless in application, as relevant today as ever, it is a remarkably complete guide to life. In The Way of the Practical Mystic, approaches for the lasting creation of good are detailed that are completely in accord with the Christian way and the principles of New Age thought. The use of affirmations in realizing abundance and harmony is described with clarity, there is a new look at prayer, and we are offered a threefold path towards successful realization. We control our lives by our own thoughts, and we have total responsibility to use that remarkable power for the good of all. We can develop subtler, intuitive abilities and become more sensitive to the profound richness of life.
The Way of the Practical Mystic is suitable for the religiously-minded of all persuasions, but will be particularly helpful for someone steeped in the Christian tradition. The words of Saint Matthew, 'Therefore if thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light', sum up the philosophy. Henry Thomas Hamblin's work stands between that of Joel Goldsmith ('The Infinite Way') and James Allen ('As a Man Thinketh'), and 'A Course in Miracles'. It will appeal to all seeking to improve their lives, whether by the practical application of thought or through following a more spiritual path.

About the Author
Henry Thomas Hamblin (1873-1958) is famous for classic works of the mid-twentieth century which demonstrate his technique of 'applied right thought'. He and his friend Joel S. Goldsmith (1892-1964) were the Jack Kornfields of their generation. Both Hamblin and Goldsmith bridge Christianity and more recent 'new age' philosophies and have been the catalyst for many to move from old patterns of thought to new ones. Tens of thousands of people attest to the effect Hamblin's words have had on their lives. This unique book will add many more to that list. Enjoy Hamblin's work today via www.thehamblintrust.org
